North Fort Myers, Fla. - - Services for Ruth G. Brinson, 67, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Carter Funeral Home of Hinesville, Ga., with burial in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery near Richmond Hill Ga. Mrs Brinson died Thursday, Sept. 8, 1994. Bom in Hampton, she was retired from the Chatham County Board of Education, was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church of Richmond Hill and a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Rubin C. "Red" Brinson; a daughter Harriett Blanchard of North Fort Myers; stepdaughters Betty Parkins and Dorothy Pettit, both of Winterset, Iowa, and Ann Smith of West Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, John Gooding of Savannah, Bill Gooding of Augusta and Sam Gooding of Hampton; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
