She was born on March 4, 1923 in Ft. Madison to William and Genevieve Kramer Watznauer. On April 28, 1942 she married Raymond Blint in Ft. Madison and he passed away in September of 1973. In her younger years she worked on the family dairy farm. She also worked various other jobs in the area and retired from IAAP. Pauline was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Church, the Altar & Rosary Society and CLA. She loved to play cards and bingo.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Kathy) Blint and Ron Blint of West Point; three grandsons; three great granddaughters and two great grandsons; her siblings, Laverne Boeding, Vera Boeding and Raymond Watznauer all of West Point, Lucille Fedler, Floyd Watznauer and Bernard Watznauer all of Ft. Madison and Rita Miller of Burlington.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Ike and Wilbert; three sisters, Martha, Eileen and Evelyn and her companion of over thirty five years, Bernard Hogan.
Friends may call after 2 PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will meet with friends from 4:30-6:30 PM. There will be a wake service at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church with Rev. Mark P. Spring officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
