Eileen C. Dingman, 53, rural West Point, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday, April 8, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Dingman was born April 7, 1938, in Fort Madison and was a lifelong resident of the West Point-St. Paul area. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of St. Paul and the Altar and Rosary Society.
On Sept. 2, 1963, at Fort Madison, she was married to Donald H. Dingman, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Kevin of St. Louis, Wayne of Des Moines and Daniel A. of Fort Madison; three daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Lori) Greiner, Mt. Pleasant, Kimberly Ann Dingman, Des Moines and Jennifer, at home; five brothers, Wilbert, Floyd and Bernard Watznauer, all of Fort Madison, Clarence (Ike) Watznauer of Big Springs, Texas and Raymond Watznauer, West Point; seven sisters, Mrs. Junior (Martha) Boeddeker, Mrs. Joe (Evelyn) Schneider, Mrs. Ray (Pauline) Blint and Mrs. Richard (Lucille) Fedler, all of Fort Madison, Mrs. Paul (Laverne) Boeding and Mrs. Richard (Vera) Boeding, both of West Point, and Mrs. Gerald (Rita) Miller, Burlington.
She was preceded in death by per parents, William L. and Genevieve Kramer Watznauer.
Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at St. James Church. The Rev. Robert Striegel officiated. Burial was in St. James Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jack Boeddeker, John Schneider, Rick Blint, Gary Thompson, Roger Boeding and Tim Watznauer.
