Cressey -- Funeral services will be held in the Atwater Chapel of Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Ellen C. Brewer, 64, 9065 N. Seconds St., Cressey, who died Friday Dec 10, 1971 at her home.
The Reverend Charles B. Scott of the Winton Pentecostal Church of God will officiate and burial will be in the Winton District Cemetery.
Born August 11, 1907 in Trousdale, Pottawatomie County, OK., Mrs. Brewer had lived here 26 years. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Willo A. Brewer of Cressey; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Greenlee of Ada, Okla., Mrs. Gaytha Grissom and Mrs. Alma Stone, both of Winton; two sons, Almo and Almond Brewer, both of Cressey; a sister, Mrs. Lizzy Myers of Delhi; two brothers, Vernon and Elmer Beets, both of Byars, Okla.
Sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Kendall and Darren Grissom. Both were the light of her life.
