Mary L. Parsons Lerch, age 87, formerly of Liberty Street Clarion died 8/8/96 in the Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Born in Reidsburg on 12/14/08. Father Addison W. Klingensmith, Mother Effie Davis Klingensmith. She was married on 9/24/27 to Ellwood Parsons who died 9/9/67. She married Quay Lerch on 3/19/69 and he died on 4/18/85.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Clarion, Murphy Grange, Grandmothers Club, Senior Citizens Club, and a Volunteer at the Veterans Hospital in Butler.
Survivors, 3-daughters, Mrs. Dale (Joan) Haugh-RD#4 Brookville, Mrs. James (Mary Ellen) Bowser,Daden, PA, Violet Horne,San Antonio, TX, 2-brothers, Allen Klingensmith,Clarion, Wayne Klingensmith,Deanville, PA, 11-grandchildren, 9-great grandchildren and 1-great great grand daughter. She was proceeded in death by her parents, both husbands, 1-son, Cecil Parsons, 5-sisters, 1-grandson and 1-grand daughter.
Visitation will be at the Goble Funeral Home of Clarion on Sat. From 7-9 and Sunday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral services will be from the Christian Alliance Church at 11:00 AM Monday with Rev. Dan Beeman officiating. Internment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
