" Mrs. Effie Laura Klingensmith, 80, of Reidsburg, Clarion RD 2, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Strattanville.

She was born. Nov. 5, 1878, in Summerville, a daughter of Stewart Davis and Sara Haug Davis.

She was married to Addison Klingensmith on Sept. 8, 1898. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Roseville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Klingensmith is survived by a sister, Maude Davis of Brookville, six daughters, Florence, Clarion RD 2; Etta, Oil City; Mae and Mrs. Vida Corte, Strattanville; Mrs. Ruth Byers and Mrs. Mary Parsons, Reedsburg; and two sons, Allen of Sligo and Wayne of New Bethlehem RD. Mrs. Klingensmith is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Baughman and Mrs. Austin Lawrence.

The body was removed to the Goble Funeral Home where friends may start calling this evening. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be made in the Corsica Baptist Cemetery."
