William J. "Bill" Schmeidler, 97, retired Skelly Oil Co. district manager, died Friday Aug. 14, 1992. Service 11 a.m. Monday, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors: sons, Ernest W., James H., of Wichita, William A. of Buena Vista, Colo.; daughters Sister Bonaventure of Cincinnati, Carol A. Romme of Hays, Jeannette Flax of Topeka; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and St. Joseph Catholic Grade School. Hays Memorial Chapel.
