Major General Edward Abbot Anderson was the son of Henry Anderson and Laetitia Anderson (nee Abbot). He firstly married Martha, née Birkett 1835-1864 who died giving birth to Edward Henry Abbot-Anderson. Secondly to Lavinia Barr on 18 December1867.
