He was born October 19, 1944, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph and Thelma (Piper) Denisiuk. He was a Portage resident for 13 years, formerly of Hessville. He was co-founder of and currently employed at J & M Transportation of Portage working there for the past 7 years. He is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Dean Denisiuk, William Joseph Denisiuk, both of Lake Station; his mother Thelma Bittner of Portage; 2 brothers, Earl Francis Denisiuk of Gary, Michael John (Lori) Denisiuk of Westville; 5 sisters, Clara (Al) Clark of St Louis, Missouri, Marlene (Ken) Spradlin of Hobart, Mary (John)Bittner of Portage, Patricia (William) Walker of Portage, Deborah Zedov of LaGrange, Georgia; his former wife and co-business partner, Mary Packer-Denisiuk. He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister, Virginia. Funeral services will be held on April 2, 1993 at 10 a.m. at Engel Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, with Pastor Dutch Pershun officiating.
