Age 73, of Portage, formerly of Gary and Lake Station, passed away at Hobart St Mary Medical Center, Thursday, March 17, 1994. She was a former employee of the Rondavoo Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husbands Joseph Denisiuk and John F. Bittner, Sr., daughter, Virginia Taylor and son, Joseph Denisiuk. Surviving 5 daughters, Clara (Al) Clark of Union, MO, Mary (John)Bittner of Portage, Marlene (Kenneth) Spradlin of Hobart, Patricia (William) Walker of Portage, Deborah (Phil) Zedov of GA; 2 sons, Earl (Lynda) Denisiuk of GA, Michael (Lori) Denisiuk of Valparaiso; 4 brothers, Howard (Fran) Piper of Steubenville, Ohio; Kenneth (Gerri) Piper of Akron, Ohio; James (Dee) Piper of PA; Elmer (Sis) Piper of PA; 2 sisters, Carrie Uvena of PA, Joanne (Andrew) Baker of Blairsville, PA; many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday, March 21, 1994, 1 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, corner of Rt. 51 & 7th St, Hobart, Ind. Rev. John Scott, officiating. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Ind. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be given to the family. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Hobart.
