CHILD DROWNS FROM FALL INTO POST HOLE.
James Glenn Scott, 20 months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Max H. Scott, drowned about 5:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, when he fell into a water-filled post hole at his home, 1214 W. Kaufman St. The child, found by his father, was taken to the Sanitarium of Paris where artificial respiration was used but without avail.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown-Roden Funeral Home by the Rev. W. W. Pittman, pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, and burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James E. Scott Jr., and Howard Holmes.
The child was born in Paris, Aug. 4, 1944, son of Max H. Scott and wife, formerly Miss Ruth E. Wisely.
Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Lacrecia Nadine Scott, and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Scott and Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Wisely, all of Paris.
