THE PARIS NEWS Thu., Nov. 21, 1991, p. 2A: 'Max Henry Scott, 72, Rt. 1, Sumner, died at his home at 1:30 p.m. Thu. Services at 11 a.m. Fri. at Fry & Gibbs with Rev. Tom Brown & Rev. Buddy Greer.

Born in Paris, son of Sterling John & Virgie Kemp Scott. Attended Paris schools & married Ruth Evelyn Wisely. Was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters. Mrs. Philip 'Lacrecia' Risinger & Miss Deborah Scott, both of Paris; a granddaughter, Mrs. Bo 'Tralisa' Sheriden of Lubbock & a sister, Mrs. Mark 'Vivian' Johnson of Paris & a brother, Robert Scott of Covington, GA.

Was preceded in death by by a son, James Glenn Scott in 1946. Memorials may be made to the Ella C. McFadden Hospice at St. Joseph's Hospital.'
