Lillie (Mounce) Bray of White Lily Church Road, died at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland after a brief illness. She was 89 years old.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church.

She was survived by her sons, Reuben Bray of Somerset and James Bray of White Lily; her daughters, Marie Powell of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Della Barringer and Leona Lambe, both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her brother, Eli Mounce of Somerset; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 5 foster grandchildren; and 2 foster great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Carter Mounce and Sophia (Dykes) Mounce; her husband, Christopher Columbus Bray (married February 18, 1915 in the Ruth community, Pulaski County, Kentucky); her sons, Robert Bray and Harold Bray; and her daughter, Alberta Bray.

Funeral services were held at the Clay Hill Baptist Church with Brother Edmond VanHook, Elder Lloyd Sewell, and Reverend Warren Carroll officiating.

Somerset Undertaking Company was in charge of arrangements.
