A member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, an employee with Starr Custom Trim, and a US Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his brothers, James Leatherwood, Robert Leatherwood (Jackie), Wayne Leatherwood, and Michael Leatherwood (Theresa); sisters, Mary Green (Ted), JoAnn O'Shields (Doug), Donna Cook (Phil), Shirley Leatherwood, and Tammy West (Tracy).
