Josephine (Hughes) Leatherwood, 63, of Woodruff, SC, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at her home.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of John Paul Leatherwood and the daughter of the late Aaron and Maggie Rosa Lee (Waters) Hughes.
She was a member of Reidville First Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Mark Vaughn and Andy Vaughn both of Greer; sisters Betty Jo Loftis, Mildred Hughes, Frances Hubbard and Alice Gibson and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers Vernon, Aaron Jr. and Jimmy and sisters Mary Ann, Margaret and Jane.
Visitation was held Monday, January 6, 2014 at Forest Hills Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00 PM.
Funeral service followed at 3:00 PM held in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Interment was in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
