- Virden - Mrs. Opal I. Bauswell, 75, formerly of Virden, died Feb. 16 at Vale View Nursing Home in Valparaiso, Ind.
- Services will be held Wednesday at Rees Funeral Home in Hobart, Ind., and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Ind.
- Surviving are four sons, Vincent Charles of Portage, Ind., Joseph and Clarence, both of Hobard, Ind., and Harold of Valparaiso, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Harney of Battle Creek, Mich., Mrs. Thelma Steward of Virden, Mrs. Elizabeth Bridges and Mrs. Lillian Jackson, both of Girard; two brothers, Harold Adams of Lemon Grove, Calif., and Albert Adams of Joliet; several nieces and nephews.
