Kathleen M. Hetler, 79, of Second Avenue, Tarentum, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday (June 28, 1999) in Highland Center, Genesis Elder-Care, Brackenridge, where she was a resident for one month. Born Oct. 29, 1919 in Tarentum, she lived there all her life. Mrs. Hetler was a 1937 graduate of Tarentum High School and graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a degree in business administration. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Roland D. Hetler; four sons, Christian B., Eric S. and Shawn D. Hetler, all of Tarentum, and Jeffrey D. Hetler of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Cynthia K. Hetler of Brackenridge; four grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Lasher of Lower Burrell. Mrs. Hetler was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Thomas H. and Pearl R. Roach Manley; a brother; and three sisters. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. Arrangements by DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum.
