Pearl V. Boppe Keefer Rowe, 91, a resident of Fahrney-Keedy Home of Boonsboro, MD, and formerly of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Sunday May 17, 2015, at Fahrney-Keedy.
Born February 3, 1924, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Amelia Virginia (Jacobs) Boppe.She was a member of the Welty Church of the Brethren. She retired in 1986 after 19 years at Western Maryland Hospital Center of Hagerstown. She is survived by two sons, George Alvey Keefer, Jr. of Maugansville, MD, and Earl Martin Keefer and wife, Beverly, of Fairmont, WV, and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and his wife, Paul and Janet Mason of Smithsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Rowe, in 2005; three sisters, Mary E. Weist, Lula Murphy and Annie McLucas; and three brothers, John Boppe, David Boppe and Martin Boppe.

Services will be held Friday May 22, 2015, at 11 a.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, with Pastor Mike Manthos officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Pearl to Welty Church of the Brethren, 13465 Greensburg Road, Smithsburg, MD, 21783.
