****************
Dora Marie Eggeling was born December 25, 1862 at Gatas Taba Mecklingburg, Germany, and died November 28, 1958 in McCook, Nebraska, having attained the age of 95 years, 11 months, and 3 days.

She grew to womanhood in Germany, and at the age of 18 came with her parents to the United States, where they settled at Jensen, Nebraska.

She was married to Fred C. Eggeling on June 6, 1884, and they took up a homestead 12 miles northwest of Culbertson in 1892. In 1904 Mr. and Mrs. Eggeling sold the homestead place and moved to a Republican valley farm five miles southeast of Culbertson.
