Burial was in the Culbertson cemetery under the direction of the Herrmann Funeral Home. The pallbearers were Werner Morthole, Arnold Cappel, Fred Cappel, Walter Cappel, Leeman Taylor, and George Heinz Jr.
Fred Andrew Eggeling was born May 5, 1897 at Beverly, Nebraska and died November 7, 1963 at Santa Fe hospital in Los Angeles, California. He was baptized August 29, 1897 and was a member of College Lutheran church in San Diego, California for the past seven years.
Survivors include one brother, William of Denver, Colorado; and four sisters, Miss Minnie Eggeling of Culbertson; Mrs. Dorothea June of Hastings, Nebraska; and Mrs. Louis Morthole and Mrs. John Cook, both of McCook.
Out-of-town relatives attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. William F. Eggeling, Mr. and Mrs. Leeman Taylor Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. George Heinz Jr., all of Denver.
