After, 1866 Elial Babcock and Henry Babcock families moved to Denver Twp., Newaygo Co., MI., where Lydia Dake Babcock's father Benjamin Dake and siblings living.
Henry Truman Babcock worked as farm laborer and laborer in saw mill. In 1887 his hand was severed in saw mill accident.
