Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Parsons of Garretts Bluff were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Belk Methodist Church. The Rev. Presley Hutchings and the Rev. Ken Summy officiated. Burial was made in Georgia Cemetery. Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home of Paris had charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Leo Parsons, Jimmie Parsons, Wayne Beard, Jack Hood, Roy Chadwick, Fred Gilliam, Gerald Burleson and Jack Frierson.
Honorary pallbearers were Hardy Moore, Jimmie Whiteside, Ray Carpenter, W. L. Higgins, John Brunson, Clarkston Sain, Lloyd Thompson and Joe Cook.
Mrs. Parsons died Saturday in Brownsville Medical Center Hospital in Brownsville.
