James Ronnie Parsons, 70, of Parker passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 5,, at Belk United Methodist Church in the Belk community with Dr. Terry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Garretts Bluff cemetery under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
The family receives friends at the church 1 hour prior to service time.
He was born August 27, 1937, in Paris, a son of Roy and Alma Parsons. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1959 and was a pilot for American Airlines for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marge; his daughter's family, Sarah and Ric Tolley; his son's family, Jeff and Pamela Parsons. He was a loving grandfather to Caitlin, Hayden, Alexandra and Jacob.
He will be missed by his family.
