Married Parley McFarlane Reid April 8, 1919 in Duchesne. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 19, 1980. Relief Society visiting teacher since 1932. Served a two year stake mission, Riverside Stake and was active in Salt Lake Temple attendance. Survived by children, Gwen Josie, Salt Lake City; Bernard Reid, West Valley; Mrs. Paul (Georgia) Ritzman, Sandy; John (Tim) Reid, South Jordan; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Floyd, Emery and Frank Tanner, all of Myton; Mrs. John (Emma) Mitchell, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Hazel Olsen, Price. Preceded in death by a son and a daughter. Funeral services 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Riverside 1st Ward Chapel, 500 North 1100 West, where friends may call one and a half hours prior to services. Burial, Tabiona Cemetery. Funeral directors, Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.
