MADELINE VIRGINIA SPOONIRE, 76, of Funkstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born January 1, 1939, in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Roy and Hattie McGowen Corder.
Madeline was a woman of Christian faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Dianna Spoonire of Funkstown, MD, Holly Spoonire of Winchester, VA, and Melissia Spoonire of North Carolina; three sons, Steven Bloyer Sr., and Merle Spoonire, both of Hagerstown, MD, and Jeffery Spoonire of Salem, OR; and numerous grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Madeline is preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Blevins; three sisters, Martha Morris, Barbara Alger and Helen Hoover; and four brothers, Leon, Howard, Leroy and Jonny Corder.
Graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
