CHARLES ROY CORDER, 428 George St., died at Washington County Hospital Thursday morning, aged 66 years.

Born in Brownsville, he was a son of Jackson and Martha (Hahn) Corder. He had been living here for the past 38 years.

He was a machinist helper for the Western Maryland for over 20 years, retiring in 1938 due to health. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

Survived by: wife, Mrs. Hattie May (McGowan) Corder; daughters, Mrs. Martha Morris, Mrs. Barbara Alger, Mrs. Grace Baker, and Mrs. Helen Shuey, all of Hagerstown; Miss Madeline Corder, at home; sons, all of Hagerstown, Howard, Leroy, and John; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Hazel McCoy, Mrs. Gussie Ault, and Mrs. Clara Booth, all of Brunswick; Mrs. Lillian Shuell, and Mrs. Mary Scrible, both of Baltimore; brothers, Luther, Hagerstown; Harvey and Russell, both of Keedysville; and Melvin, Sharpsburg.

Services Sunday at 3:30 pm at A. K. Coffman Funeral home with the Rev. Dr. DeWitt Miller and Rev. Philip E. Norris officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
