Heart Attack Fatal As He Worked
Death at his work came Monday afternoon to George Stoldt farmer and carpenter from southeast of Seneca, resident of Nemaha county all his 71 years of life, well-known and well-liked.

Mr. Stoldt was in Seneca, working at the Mrs. Minnie Jermane home. He had been working with a door just a few minutes before he was found dead, victim of a heart attack. Mr.Stoldt had had a heart ailment for several years.

The funeral service is this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at the Congregational church, Seneca, conducted by Rev. Mariatt, and burial will be in the cemetery here.

George W. Stoldt was born at Kelly, August 18, 1878, the son of George and Minnie Stoldt. On November 2, 1902, he married Amanda Brooks, who survives him.

The Stoldt home has been at the same farm southeast of Seneca 42 years. It is a pretty home, with pretty lawn, beautiful flowers. Mr. Stoldt was especially interested in flowers and gardening, in addition to his work of farming and carpentry. He was a very industrious man, a hard worker and good citizen.

In addition to his wife, he leaves one brother, Henry of Tonganoxie, and three sisters: Mrs. Emma Bluma of Atchison, Mrs. Bert Cole of Kelly, and Mrs. Minnie Bronaugh, Council Grove. Grover Stoldt, Fred Stoldt and Alice Finch are deceased brothers and sister.

Mr. Stoldt was a member of the Christian church.

At the service this afternoon, it was expected pallbearers would be George Gress, Joe Heinen, Ralph Hoffman, Roy Winterscheidt, Frank Block and Matt Clemens.
