LAKE BUTLER - Virginia Ann Brewer died Friday in her home following an extended illness. She was 62.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Marion, Ill., and moved to Lake Butler 20 years ago. She was a certified nursing assistant at the North Florida Reception Center in Lake Butler. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Brewer.
Survivors include her husband, Willis D. Brewer Sr.; daughters Melva Pirtle of Hilliard, Ohio, and Mary Randall of Lake Butler; son Willis D. Brewer Jr. of Zephyrhills; brothers Charles Basham of Marion, Ill., George Basham of Tippecanoe, Ohio, James Basham of Dade City and Robert Basham and Ted Basham, both of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
