Benjamin followed his older brother Elijah Robinson from Willington, Conn. to Weathersfield, VT. On Feb. 21, 1786 Benjamin, called of Willington, Conn., bought for 75 pounds from Jerome Loomis of Lebanon, Conn., Lot 15 containing 54 acres in the 2nd Division of land in the town of Weathersfield, VT. On Feb. 19, 1789 called of Weathersfield, Windsor County, VT, Benjamin gave the same Jerome Loomis, now of New York, a mortgage deed subject to Benjamin delivering to Loomis an unspecified number of "neat" cattle as payment. Benjamin resold the same Lot 15 to Davis Goodwin on Mar. 17, 1790. (Weathersfield Deeds 1-470; 2-121, 221).
