"Ex-Ram Footballer Woodley Lewis Loses Mother — The second member of the family to die within the past six weeks, Mrs. Lillian Pauline Lewis, mother of former Ram professional football star Woodley Lewis, Jr., died May 2 at a local hospital. Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of Mrs. Lillian Black, who died here Mar. 29 after 34 years residence. She was also the sister of Mrs. Carmelita Black Lomax, former wife of the former publisher of the Tribune, and of Mrs. Bobbie Borders, who resides now in Fort Wayne, Ind. Mrs. Lewis was a native of Nebraska. Her husband, Woodley, Sr., survives, in additional to her son and sisters. Rites were conducted from the chapel of Angelus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hampton B.
