Death Certificate information calculated Jefferson's birth year to be 1849, however, when checked out, it turns out that Jefferson's birth year was 1848.
Jefferson was known as "Jeff" to family and Friends. He was a Farmer.
He was joined in marriage with Lavinia "Vina" Douglas in Tampa, Hillsborough Co, Florida.
Their first born child was a son and they named Him Robert Henry Summerall. There is confusion in records because he went by Henry Summerall so much. Records ended up showing him as Henry Summerall. I know him to be Robert Henry as he is my grandfather.
Jefferson and Lavinia went on to have a total of 12 Children born to their marriage. Son, Cornelius was the informant named on Jefferson's Death Certificate. Cornelius was called by his nickname "Neil". Cornelius was born in 1891 when Jefferson was age 43.
CAUSE OF DEATH: Death Certificate tells us Jefferson had Cardio renal Disease and that he had gangrene in his right foot.
