CALICO ROCK PROGRESS - NOVEMBER 8, 1973

Curren Goldman Wood, age 72, a native of Calico Rock, died Sat., Nov. 3, 1973, in Fayetteville, Ark.

   He was a retired assistant manager of the Ark. Div. of Reynolds Tobacco Co., a member of the United Methodist Church in Calico Rock; a 50 year member of Acacia Lodge No. 625 F&A.M. in Calico Rock, and a 50 year member of Scimiter Shrine of Little Rock.

   Survivors include his wife, Carol Garrett Wood; a stepson Dr. L. G. Bayne of Atlanta; a daughter Mrs. Polly Ann Crews of Ft. Smith; two brothers, R. H. Wood of Little Rock and Auburn Wood of Stuttgart; two sisters, Mrs. Euna Ferrill of Calico Rock and Mrs. Dula Hook of Little Rock; nine grandchildren.

   Funeral was by Ruebel Funeral Home and burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock.
