He was a Protestant; an Army veteran of the Korean War; past commander of the Friedensburg VFW; and a member of Lykens Fire Company and Gratz VFW.
Surviving are a companion, Pearl Kramer; a son, Kermit Jr. of Huntingdon; a daughter, Traci L. Balderston of Lykens; a stepson, William Kramer of Valley View; a stepdaughter, Kathy Bossler of Valley View; three brothers, Charles of Manada Gap, Clyde of Enola and Kenny of Newport; three sisters, Earla Keiffer, Earnistine Nye and Earlene Hepler, all of Jonestown; and 10 grandchildren.
Services was held in Corl Funeral Home, Tower City. Burial, with full military honors, was in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
