Below information furnished by FAG Contributor Bob Baxter on 9/22/21.

Mary Brown Baxter's Spouse on her FAG page lists John Baxter. Through my Ancestry research my 6th GGF is John Baxter (1712 - 26 May 1757) son of Edmund E Baxter and Mary Bowen, and all my research indicates his spouse was Mary Brown, daughter of George and Mary Brown. Also John and Mary are listed as married and his will lists Mary and their same named children in the "Baltimore County Families, 1659-1759" The land in John's will named as "Baxter's Choice, 50 acres recorded 1748 and Baxter's Folly, 52 acres recorded 1749 goes to their children. This same land is listed in "Settlers of Maryland, 1731-1750, page 11. (NOTE: not sure why the below document is mentioned as Mary died in 1767 and John died in 1757, so I don't think a document of 1844 had anything to do with Mary Elizabeth Brown Baxter or John Baxter. HBB) Another document listing both as married is a record of Baptisms in the Parish of Market Overton on Nov 24, 1844 number 503 that lists their daughter Eliza short for Elizabeth being baptized.

It's my understanding that we don't know the accurate date of Mary Brown Baxter's death. The 19 Feb 1767 date in the Memorial is the date her father George Brown, Sr wrote his will. Mary and 10 other siblings, including an Elizabeth, were mentioned in his will and were alive as of that date. (Note: Mary's last child, William, was born in 1757. HBB)
