ROAN MOUNTAIN - Roy Isaacs, 78, Rt. 3, Roan Mountain, died at his home Thursday. He was born in Hughes Community, Avery, N.C.

Survivors include his widow, Bessie Buck Isaacs; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Waycaster, Adrian, Mich., and Mrs. Jim Born, Newland, N.C.; one son, Rex Isaacs, Rt. 3, Roan Mountain. one brother, Claude Isaacs, Elk Park, N.C.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Reins-Sturdivant, Newland, N.C. is in charge.
