Donna M. Engle Obituary
Payette--Mrs. Donna Mabel Engle, 89, Payette, died Friday at a Payette nursing home. She was born Sept. 27, 1882, at Pendleton, Ind. On May 18, 1904, she was married to Fredrick Engle at Hopkins, Mo., and they moved to Idaho in 1905. They lived in various areas, settling in Fruitland in 1915 and moved to Payette in 1942. Since Mr. Engle's death in 1954, she had made her home with a daughter in Ontario. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four sons: Ben B. Engle, Payette, Ralph Engle, Seattle, Fae Engle, Pasadena, Calif. and Guy Engle, Renton Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Verle) Gunderson, Ontario, and Mrs. Beth Griffiths, Boise; two brothers, Cosmo C. Wise, Anaheim, Calif. and Ernest E. Wise, Auftwell, Tex., 25 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Franklin, in 1969, and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Assembly of God Church, Payette, by the Rev. A.E. Rainwater. Interment will be at Rosedale under direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
