Ellouise Farmer Hendrix, 87, widow of Retired Lt. Colonel Charles Henry Hendrix, died February 21, 2015.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Henry Grady and Susie Smith Farmer, she was a homemaker and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Peden of the home and Teresa Bennett (Jeff) of Travelers Rest; one foster son, Jim Coleman of Greer; one sister, Martha Propes of the home and four grandchildren, Chase Peden, Chelsea Bennett, Caleb Bennett and Caroline Bennett.

Mrs. Ellouise Hendrix was predeceased by three brothers, Joe Farmer, Jack Farmer and Ed Farmer and one sister, Frances Mims.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Joe Curtis and Rev. John Rush.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
