Martha "Janette" (Songer) Mathiews was born April 15, 1939 in the White Sands Community the daughter of Harry Songer & Josephine (Tuttle) Songer and had lived in the Valliant area most of her life.
Janette married Bennie Mathiews on May 4, 1967 in Hugo, OK. She loved to bowl and was a member of several leagues.She also loved square dancing, playing croquet, riding four wheelers, camping and fishing. She belonged to a Model-A Club and toured the country. Janette loved life and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Moyer, a daughter, Martha Lynn Alvarado; brothers: Junior Songer and Raymond Songer; sisters: Betty Jean Maness and JoAnn McCoy and a granddaughter, Paula Gaspard.
Survivors include: her husband, three sons; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter along with a host of other family and friends.
