Charles was born on September 21, 1934 to the late Emzie M. Joseph and Mildred L. Berry-Girton. His early life was spent on his Grandparents farm in Liberty Hill, TX. He was very proud of his family roots and lived life to the fullest. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in England, Japan and Korea.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Rena, step-father Ward Girton, Grandparents, Taylor and Susie Joseph; Felix and Hattie Berry.
Survivors include his daughter, Martha Lynn Alvarado, son, Timothy Eric Joseph; Adopted sons Bob, Mark, and Larry Joseph; siblings, Jan, Butch, Danny, Cheryl and Alan; Uncle Troy Joseph, Aunt Laverne Berry, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At his request, his body was cremated and returned to his birth place, the farm in Liberty Hill, Texas.
