Funeral services for Parley Adelbert (Dell) Allred, 82, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mt. Pleasant North ward chapel by Arnold Y. Stevens, bishop.

Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant city cemetery under direction of the Ursenbach Funeral Home.

Mr. Allred died Sunday evening after an extended illness.

He was born in Spring City, March 11, 1867, a son of Parley Joseph and Mary Almona Allred. He engaged in farming and livestock growing and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Cattleman's Association and was watermaster for the North Creek Irrigation company for many years. He was a member of the L. D. S. church and had been active in the North ward Elders quorum.

He was married in Mt. Pleasant June 29, 1893 to Elizabeth Burnside and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti L. D. S. temple. They are the parents of thirteen children.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Ray and Virgil Allred of Mt. Pleasant; nine daughters Mrs. Vera A. Petersen of Beverly Hills, Calif.; Mrs. LA Vern Jensen of Milburn; Mrs. Vida A. O'Keefe of North Hollywood; Mrs. Ida A. Erratt, Mrs. Maxine A. Llewellyn and Anne Allred of Los Angeles; Mrs. Ruth A. Hamilton of Bell, Calif.; Mrs. Zola A. Howard and Mrs. Ada A. Sperry of Nephi; a brother, Horace E. Allred of Salt Lake; a sister, Mrs. Ada A. Pope of Salmon, Idaho; 37 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
