Rites Set For Tyrone Man

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Christian church of Tyrone for Charles F. Stevens, 72, who died Sunday about 1:30 p.m. after suffering a heart attack.

Roberts Funeral home, Hooker, will be in charge of arrangements.

Stevens is survived by his wife, four sons and six daughters. Bruce Dale and Curtis, all of Tyrone, Jimmy of Hutchinson, Kans., Mrs. Dillard Compton, Mrs. Glen Cain, Mrs. Charles Lee Mann, Mrs. Barry Rist, all of Tyrone' Mrs. Glen Woodward, Goodwell and Mrs. Ben Crist of Little River, Kan.

He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs Elaine Albright, Tyrone, and Mrs. Ora Hansen, Los Angeles, Calif., and three brothers, Haven Stevens of Hugoton, Kans, Russel Stevens, Seattle, Wash., and Major Gen. Lilburn Stevens, Fort Lewis, Wash., and 35 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Stevens was born April 8, 1883 at Richfield, Mo., and was a member of the Christian Church of Tyrone.
