Don Clinton Hadley was born on April 1, 1944, in Eagletown, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, at the age of 70.

Don, the son of Norvin and Edna (Dennington) Hadley, was a resident of Earlsboro. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He married Zelpha Vermell Booker on August 12, 1967, in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was an educator for 30 years. He worked as a teacher, administrator and/or coach at Guymon, Wynona, Oklahoma City, Strother and Varnum Public Schools. He was a member and Deacon of Prague Free Will Baptist Church. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, being with his family and going to his grandkid’s sporting events.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wendell Hadley, and sister, Guy Eula Pool

Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Zelpha Vermell Hadley of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jon Marc and Amy Hadley of Little; daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Jason Nutt of Paden and Jill and Eric Rawls of Earlsboro; grandchildren, Derrek and Jessica Mitchell, Tia Mitchell, Lance Nutt, Timber Nutt, Daison Hadley, Alauna Hadley and Bowdee Nutt; great grandchild, Bryson Mitchell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Warren and Sue Hadley of Fort Smith and Dale and Betty Hadley of Indiahoma; sister, Eleanor Marrs of Shawnee and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Free Will Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Randall Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole.
