He was the son of the late John Franklin and Sarah (Statler) Cook and was born at Cotton Plant on March 22, 1886. He was preceded in death by his three wives: Allie Mae Wells (m. 1908), Lola Sexton (m. 1925), and Rosella "Ella" Willoughby (m. 1950).
Mr. Cook was a retired farmer, a widower, and a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, George M. Cook of Caruthersville; four grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
The Dean Funeral Home was in charge.
