Mrs. Allie May Cook, wife of H. C. Cook, died at the family home in this city last Saturday night at 9:15 o'clock after an illness of several months with tuberculosis.
Funeral services were held at Liberty Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. E. Brown, pastor of the First Baptist church of this city. Interment was made in the cemetery there following the services.
Allie May Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Wells of Caruth, was born November 5, 1891, at Caruth. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Cook is survived by four children, Wells, age 13, H. C., age 12, George, age 6, and Susie, age 4; four brothers, Henry, Charley, George M., and Lee J.
Mrs. Cook got in bad health last fall and her condition continued to grow worse until the end came. She was a member of the Caruth Baptist church, and highly respected by a large circle of friends.
