Mary Hazel (Percy) Allison was born on February 12, 1913, in Iantha, Missouri, the daughter of Earnest and Tempie Percy. She departed this life on December 22, 2014, at the age of 101 Years and 10 Months. After graduating from high school, Mary went to school to become a beautician. For many years she had a beauty shop in her home in Wichita, Kansas. On August 1, 1942, Mary married Lester Allison. To this union two children were born, Marilynn Ruth and James Edward. Lester and Mary made their home in Wichita, Kansas, until they retired. They then moved to Stockton, Missouri. They went into the cattle business with their son Jim. Survivors are a son, James Allison, and wife Ruth; three grandsons, Ian Hafer of Brookline, Missouri, Stephen Allison of Stockton, Missouri, and Michael Bullinger of Nevada, Missouri; two great granddaughters, Brook Hafer of Lamar, Missouri; and Kayla Hafer of Stockton, Missouri; two brothers, Pete Percy of Neosho, Missouri, and Bill Percy of Lamar, Missouri; and two sisters, Eldora Schreckenghaust of Lamar, Missouri, and Colleen Cope of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester, a daughter, Marilynn Hafer, her parents, two sisters, Ruth Blair and Betty Armistead, and four brothers, Jack, E.V., Red and Brown.
