Bernard Cottam

Bernard Cottam, 77, died Thursday in Golden Plains Care Center. He was a retired barber.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in West Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Taylor, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mr. Cottam was born March 12, 1918 in Hubbell, Neb. He married Lucy Wyatt on Sept. 1, 1965, in Muleshoe. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy, of Hereford; four daughters, Elaine Parker of Muleshoe, Gennell Ward of Hereford, Phyllis Caddick of Lamar, Col., and Mildred Richards of Kimble, Neb.; two sisters, Darlene Cox of Edgar, Neb., and Marguerite Lowe of Lincoln, Neb.; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
