Louise was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Churchtown to Louis and Elizabeth (Meyhoff) Bieber. She attended school at Otter Creek and Center. On May 23, 1947, she married her loving husband of 59 years, Archie Eckenrode. They lived and raised six children in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. She worked for 16 years at the Hazen Public School and had various other jobs during her life. Louise loved playing games, going to bingo and trips to the casino. Her door was always open for family and friends to visit over a cup of coffee and cookies. She also enjoyed playing with the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the great-great-grandchild.
Louise is survived by three daughters and two sons, Linda (Mel) Clemens, Sheridan, Wyo., Shirley Eckenrode, Bismarck, Jake Eckenrode, Phoenix, Ariz., Irene (Clayton) Beckman, Hazen, and David (Sandra) Eckenrode, Bismarck; one son-inlaw, Kurt Milbradt, Hazen; one brother, Louie (Rosie) Bieber, Everett, Wash.; one brotherin-law, John Renner, Beulah; two sisters-in-law, Cora Alderin, Center, and Alice Janke, Bismarck; 10 grandchildren, Tiffany, Dean (Tami), Kristina, Nicole (Josh), Andrea, Trevor, Jason (Brandy), Jamee, Danielle and Kristi; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany, Aaron, Katelynn, Phillip, Travyn, Zacherie and Lacie; and one great-greatgrandchild, Grace. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie; her daughter, Sheila Milbradt; her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.
