Connie Jo Twiggs, 68 of Bradenton, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.

Connie was born on June 12, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Ben and Eloise (Grolo) Nydegger. She worked as a caregiver in the local Lafayette area nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Lafayette.

Connie moved to Bradenton in 1978.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amber Henderson and is survived by her two sons and their wives’; Paul and Meleah Howard of Bradenton, Henry and Jean Howard of Bradenton, one daughter and her husband; Amy and Gary, Jr. Henderson of Lafayette, Indiana, two brothers and their wives’; Dick and Lee Nydegger of Brookston, Indiana, Jack and Betty Nydegger of Bradenton, Florida, two sisters; Carolyn and her husband Clyde Johnson of Spring Hill, Florida, Nancy Balsor of Lafayette, Indiana, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

A private celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date in Lafayette, Indiana where she will be buried in the family cemetery.
