RUSSELL REA CURRY, SR., a retired weaver, died Sunday (May 4, 1986). He was 76 and lived in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.
Curry had worked for the Asten-Hill Manufacturing Co. in Devon. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of V.F.W.Post 861 and American Legion Post 945 in Bridesburg. He also belonged to Melita Lodge 295, F&AM.
His late wife was the former Melba Tregellas.
He is survived by a son Russell R, Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Costello and Dorothy Schelie; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow (May 8, 1986) at the Gilbert H. Schobert Funeral Home, 1677 Harrison St, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Countyline Road and Bustleton Avenue, Feasterville, Bucks County.
