Vivian E. Schwartz joined her late husband Silas on April 21, 1996 at the age of 85. A Minnesota native she came to Tacoma during the war with Silas and her 2 daughters, Phyllis and Marion who survive her. During this time she worked in the shipyards as an electrician aboard an air craft carrier. She retired at age 65 as a sales clerk in Tacoma. She is also survived by brothers, Lynn and Leo; sisters, Ardis, Corinne and Harriet; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorial service will be April 24, Fir Lane Memorial Chapel at 2pm. Fir Lane Funeral Home in charge.
